Our story

MadeByRaccoons is a one-person app studio. Just me, a mom who has always loved making things. I wrote my first program on a Texas Instruments TI-99 when I was a kid and never really stopped tinkering.

My son has needs that most apps just do not account for. So I started building for him. Lamby Talker came first because he needed a simple AAC app that was not overwhelming. Then came a calm sensory alphabet app because learning should not be stressful. Then a musical keyboard built around the alphabet because why not learn two things at once.

None of these apps exist because I saw a market opportunity. They exist because my kid needed them and I figured out how to make them.

What we make

There is really no limit. Right now we have a handful of specific learning tools built for kids with unique needs, with many more on the way. We are also working on some games that have nothing to do with autism at all, because kids are kids and sometimes they just want to play something fun.

How we work

Everything is built by one person, which means things take longer than they probably should. But it also means every decision actually matters to someone. No ads in our apps, ever. No subscriptions unless something genuinely needs one. Just apps that do what they say they do.
